Introduction

In the year 1998, the department of Computer Science & Engineering was introduced with an intake capacity of 20 students. The department has well- structured curriculum and adequate laboratory resources. Apart from these, students also utilize the various facilities of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department. Despite of the limited number of academic staff the department has completed a glorious decade.

The placement scenario of the department has been very impressive. The students are well placed in various national and multinational majors.

Laboratory

The Department of CSE has state of the art laboratory having 1:1 computers with LAN and Internet facility where the students can practice programming skills, projects and some hardware practices.

Available Laboratories are :

  • Advanced Computing Lab
  • Computer Networking Lab
  • Microprocessor Lab
  • Digital Communication Lab

The following are the major areas of laboratory practices :

Programming languages, System programming, Microprocessor, Software Engineering, Data Structure, Graphics and Networking.
