Joint Lateral Entrance Examination-2012
[For Diploma Holders under SCTE, Assam only]
Applications are invited for admission in to the 3rd semester B.E. courses in different branches of Engineering at the selected Govt Engineering Colleges of the State for the session 2012-13 from the Diploma Holders with overall minimum marks of 45% under State Council of Technical Education, Assam. The candidates appearing in the final Diploma Examination can also apply but must produce their pass certificate and marksheet at the time of admission. The candidates must be permanent resident of Assam.
Application Forms, details of eligibility, available branches and Colleges, pattern of examination etc can be can be downloaded from the websites http://dteassam.in, www.jecassam.in and www.aec.ac.in or can be obtained from 17th May, 2012 to 28th May, 2012 during office hours from the office of [i] Director, Technical Education Assam [ii] Principal, Assam Engineering College [ii] Principal, Jorhat Engineering College and [iv] Principal, Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat.
Completed application forms along with a Demand Draft of Rs 800/- only in favour of the Director, Technical Education, Assam payable in Guwahati are to be submitted at any of the above mentined offices on or before 1.06.2012. The Applicants may collect the Admit Card for the Entrance test on the same day and from the Office he/she submits the completed forms.
